BIO:

Jordan Michael Criddle, better known as J Crill was born November 2, 1986 in Wichita, Kansas. He is the son of Michael Criddle and Janet Lamb. His genre of music includes hip-hop and electro-hop. He has released three mixtapes, 2010's "Higher Learning", "What if We Made It", and in 2011 he dropped "Higher Learning 2" which has already became his most popular tape in its short time available.

J Crill found his love for music when he was in the 4th grade when listening to “Gangsters Paradise” by the famous Coolio. He had came up with a verse to the song and that’s when he realized he wanted to further his love of music. J Crill has been writing songs since he was twelve years old. Since then he’s bought his own equipment and recording software and slowly but surely gained his way into the underground music scene. In 2012, J Crill will launch and promote his first album. "I really just want to draw the fans into me as a person so they can feel the real me.” J Crill continues to pursue his passion for music, penning lyrics for many up and coming mixtapes. Much of his musical influence comes from his passion of soulful music acts which include Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Drake, Linkin Park, Coldplay, and N.E.R.D.

When J Crill isn’t pursuing music you can probably find him on the basketball court, or on the dance floor, or even at home playing video games. He has also taken a up an interest in dancing and modeling, J Crill is an incredibly talented individual with so much going for him. Finally, a rapper who is equal parts ambitious and humble, aggressive and empathetic, and witty while still being genuine. He's J Crill, and he reps FAM!
